FAQ
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a global fitness race that combines functional fitness and endurance. Athletes complete 8 km of running alongside 8 workout stations, including SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges, and Wall Balls. Designed for all fitness levels, HYROX challenges strength, endurance, and mental resilience in a race format that is accessible to both beginners and competitive athletes.
Can beginners join HYROX training?
Absolutely. Our HYROX coaching program is suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. Whether you are completely new to fitness or preparing for your first HYROX event, you will receive structured training, progressive programming, and expert guidance to help you build confidence, improve performance, and train safely.
How many days per week should I train?
Most athletes train between 3–6 days per week depending on their goals, fitness level, and race timeline. Your training plan will be personalized to match your schedule, recovery capacity, and performance objectives, ensuring consistent progress while minimizing the risk of overtraining and injury.
Is coaching available online?
Yes. Both in-person and online HYROX coaching options are available. Online athletes receive customized training programs, performance tracking, regular feedback, and ongoing support to help them prepare effectively and stay accountable regardless of location.
Can I train if I’m recovering from an injury?
Yes. As a Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach, Mahesh uses a physiotherapy-led approach to help athletes return to training safely. Programs can be modified around existing injuries while focusing on strength development, mobility, rehabilitation, and long-term performance.
Why choose a Physio-Led HYROX Coach?
Most coaches focus solely on performance. A physio-led approach combines strength training, running performance, injury prevention, rehabilitation principles, and movement quality. This allows athletes to train smarter, reduce injury risk, recover more effectively, and perform at their best on race day.
Do I need access to HYROX equipment?
No. While access to HYROX-specific equipment can be beneficial, many workouts can be adapted using standard gym equipment. Athletes training at our facility have access to HYROX stations and race-specific preparation, while online athletes receive alternative exercises and training solutions based on the equipment available to them.
